How to Become a Member

An annual membership fee is required for each family.  This fee is intended to cover expenses such as postage, copy costs,  facility usage, funding education fair and track and field day, etc. It also gives our members free admittance to the education fair, and track and field day, as well as discounts on other events. The membership fee this year is $13.  The fee is is not pro-rated or refundable.  Your membership is not complete until you have submitted the online form and your payment is received.

Cash payments are asked to be delivered in a sealed envelope with the name of the registrant clearly labeled. 

If check or cash are not an option, registrants are encouraged to request a counter check at their bank.

Yearly registration runs from August to May of the school year.
 

How We Communicate

Good communication is essential for a successful FOCUS year.  We have an email loop. When you register and pay the application fee, your email address is automatically added to our list.  Some things that you'll see in the emails are P.E. Activities and Field trip options (see below).

P.E. Activities:

 Fall, winter and spring PE activities are planned for local homeschool children. Prices will be listed for each activity. All homeschoolers are welcome. Mothers (or fathers) must be in attendance with their children. E-mail announcements will be sent over the FOCUS loop as they arise. Ideas for activities are always welcome. You will be taught how send an email via our loop after you become a member.

Field Trips:

 These are scheduled throughout the year via the e-mail  loop. If you think of a good idea for a field trip arrange it, announce it, and facilitate it.  Every mom has their own interests and passions! We strive to offer an opportunity for you to share your interests with others by arranging teachable lessons and field trips through the loop!  We love seeing and hearing what you come up with!
